EASE 4.3 goes Beta
September 5th the first Beta of EASE 4.3 was provided to the Beta group. It includes a set of major additions, such as:
Import and Export of Google Sketchup and DXF 2000 data formats Multi-threading support for the room-acoustic module AURA, making it up to 10 times faster on a quad-core PC EASE SpeakerLab v1.1 with numerous new features and analysis options STI and dBA mappings for EASE Jr users much more... - See also: EASE 4.3 previewed at 125th AES

Jack Sui to head AFMG's efforts in China
HongKong-based company EASE (China) Acoustic Design And Consulting Limited has contracted with AFMG and Renkus-Heinz to assist in marketing, support and training for AFMG's software products.
Jack (Xing) Sui, president of EASE (China), speaks Chinese, English and French fluently. Mr. Sui holds an MBA degree from the Laval University, Canada. Jack Sui was named AFMG's official distributor for China starting September 1st.
The first EASE training is anticipated for late November.

The new distributed system design software EASE Address - a full success
The simulation software for ceiling loudspeaker systems is already licensed by Bouyer (France), QSC (USA) and Tannoy (UK).

EASERA SysTune v1.1 to support DSP control platforms
The upcoming upgrade for EASERA SysTune, AFMG's live sound measurement software, now supports DSP plug-ins.
For the first time, users are able to load the equalizer or crossover control window directly into the graphic user interface of SysTune. An additional "virtual filter" function facilitates optimizing the system's performance without having the DSP directly connected.

EASE 4.2.3 released
A free upgrade for all EASE 4.x users, the new version provides minor additions as well as several bug fixes. More details are available here:

EASE Focus Database expands
With more than 40 licensed manufacturers EASE Focus has turned into the software standard for aiming and optimizing line arrays before the setup.
Recently the database was updated and several manufacturers like Alcons Audio, FZ Audio, Novacoustics (Craaft Audio) and VTC Pro Audio announced their support for EASE Focus.
